HISTORY

Founded in 1953, our companies have been pillars of textile industry of Latin America. From 1963 to 1979 our companies had an association with Bemis Co. Based in Minnesota, U.S.A. manufacturing for them all their bag sewing thread and all fabric needed for their demand in all Central America.

In 1979 Bemis shares were purchased by the original owners and since then have expanded tremendously. In 1979 we added our mop manufacturing facilities and in 1984 we added our high tenacity sewing thread line. As a policy, we have updated year after year our manufacturing equipment expanding our production with state-of-the-art equipment.

Currently, our companies occupy more than 450,000 sq. ft. of buildings and a couple of sister companies: HILCASA and FIBRATEX, this last one in its own 8 acre industrial free trade zone.
